Puppies

The saying, ‘prevention is better than cure’ certainly applies here which is why it is good to start as early as possible.

If this is your first puppy or if it has been a while and you would like a refresher, then I can support you with your own bespoke programme. It can seem like a minefield of information to take on board, from choosing the right breed and breeder, what to feed, to crate or not, is the garden a safe space, through to inoculations and other important health care commitments in their early months. Coupled with our increasingly busy lifestyles it can actually be easy to overlook the all-important training. Let alone educate ourselves with what is needed to ensure that your puppy is given the best chance possible to gain the positive foundations to lead to a fulfilling relationship in your home.

My puppy programmes start from 8 weeks of age on a 1-2-1 basis and 10 weeks in Classes.
There are certain key fundamentals which are critical in setting your puppy on the right path.

I wholeheartedly believe that having a puppy should be a pleasurable experience and that is made possible when you are informed and confident in the methods you are practicing. It is critical to avoid bad practices thereby creating a bigger problem for the dog, you and your family down the line.  I can help you strike the balance between enjoyment, fun and clear manageable boundaries. You will receive the tools and knowledge through the session but rest assured, as I am there to support whenever needed.
